Solution

Stress is a mental and physical response to any demand or challenge that disturbs a person’s natural balance or comfort. It occurs when an individual feels that they cannot cope with a situation using their usual resources. Stress is a common part of life and can be caused by both positive events (like getting married or starting a new job) and negative experiences (like exams, illness, or conflict).

Stress is not always harmful. In small amounts, it can motivate people to do better and respond effectively to challenges. This is called positive stress or eustress. However, when stress becomes too intense or lasts too long, it turns into distress, which can affect both mental and physical health.
