Solution
The Grand Trunk Road, built by Sher Shah was the longest and the most important of the four roads that he built. It connected Sonargaon in the east to Peshwar in the northwest. Shady trees were planted on both sides of the road and rest houses and wells were built at regular intervals for travellers and merchants.
