A One-Variable Data Table is a structured What-If Analysis tool in electronic spreadsheets that calculates and displays the results of one or more formulas when a range of different values is substituted for a single input variable.
Example:
Suppose a business wants to calculate the Monthly Loan EMI for a loan of Rs. 5,00,000 for 3 years (36 months). They want to check the EMI at different interest rates (8%, 9%, 11%, 12%).
| Input Variable | Outputs |
| 8% | Rs. 15,668.20 |
| 9% | Rs. 15,899.86 |
| 11% | Rs. 16,368.60 |
| 12% | Rs. 16,607.15 |
