Solution

Here, t1 = 2, t2 = 4, t3 = 6

∴ t2 − t1 = 4 − 2 = 2

t3 − t2 = 6 − 4 = 2

∴ t2 − t1 = t3 − t2 = ... = 2 = constant

The difference between two consecutive terms is constant.

∴ The given sequence is an A.P.
