Solution

Steps of Construction:

  1. Draw a circle with centre O and radius 3.4 cm.
(Because in a regular hexagon, each side = radius of its circumcircle.)
  2. Mark a point D on the circle.
  3. With D as the centre and radius 3.4 cm, mark the next point C on the circle.
  4. With C as the centre and the same radius, mark point B.
  5. Similarly, continue marking points A, F, and E on the circle using a radius of 3.4 cm each time.
  6. Join the points in order:
    A–B–C–D–E–F–A
    to form the regular hexagon.
  7. The circle already drawn with centre O becomes the circumscribed circle of the hexagon.
