Here, Modal class = 12 – 16
∴ l = 12, f1 = 17, f0 = 9, f2 = 12 and h = 4
Mode = `l + ((f_1 - f_0)/(2f_1 - f_0 - f_2)) xx 4`
= `12 + ((17 - 9)/(2 xx 17 - 9 - 12)) xx 4`
= `12 + (8 xx 4)/13`
= 12 + 2.46
= 14.46
