∴ l = 12, f₁ = 17, f₀ = 9, f₂ = 12 and h = 4

Mode = `l + ((f_1 - f_0)/(2f_1 - f_0 - f_2)) xx 4`

= `12 + ((17 - 9)/(2 xx 17 - 9 - 12)) xx 4`

= `12 + (8 xx 4)/13`

= 12 + 2.46

= 14.46
