Solution
Substituting x = – 6 in 2x – 3y = 3, we get
–12 – 3y = 3
∴ 3y = –15
∴ y = – 5
Substituting y = 1 in 2x – 3y = 3, we get
2x – 3 = 3
∴ 2x = 6
∴ x = 3
| x | − 6 | \[\boxed{3}\] |
| y | \[\boxed{-5}\] | 1 |
| (x, y) | \[\boxed{(-6, -5)}\] | \[\boxed{(3, 1)}\] |
