Solution

 y2 = 7y

\[\Rightarrow y^2 - 7y + 0 = 0\]
General form of the quadratic equation is \[a x^2 + bx + c = 0\] Comparing \[y^2 - 7y + 0 = 0\] with the general form we have a = 1, b = \[-7\] and c = 0.
