Advertisements
Solution
`13/36 - 2/40`
Now, LCM of 36 and 40 is 360.
`13/36 - 2/40`
`= (13xx10)/(36xx10) - (2xx9)/(40xx9)`
`= 130/360 - 18/360`
`= (130 - 18)/360`
`= 112/360`
`= (112 div 8)/(360 div 8)` ...(Since, HCF of 112 and 360 is 8)
`= 14/45`
