Molecular mass of Ca[NO3]2 = Ca + 2[N2 + 3(O)]

= 40 + 2[14 + 3 × 16]

= 40 + 2[14 + 48]

= 40 + 124

= 164

% of Ca = `40/164 xx 100 = 24.9`

% of N = `28/164 xx 100 = 17.07`

% of O = `96/164 xx 100 = 58.54`
