Discussion:

• In the case of Pakistan, India's exports are much greater than its imports. By 2024–25, imports from Pakistan had fallen to a very low level, which caused the exports-as-a-percentage-of-imports figure to rise sharply.
• In the case of China, the percentage fell from 79.1% to 12.6% because India's imports from China increased much faster than its exports to China. This indicates a large trade deficit with China.

Thus, India’s trade patterns with the two countries differ sharply. India exports much more to Pakistan than it imports, whereas it imports substantially more from China than it exports.
