2. Jo used to wait on her aunt, yet she was happy and full of energy. Laurie had all the luxuries and comforts at his disposal. He had servants and a tutor, but no one to really open up to. 
3. Jo was outgoing, bold and free to go wherever she wanted to. Laurie was lonely and stayed at home all day.
