1. A match consists of the best of an odd number of games.
2. A game is won by the player or pair that first scores 11 points.
3. If the score reaches 10–10, play continues until one side leads by 2 points.
4. Normally, each player or pair serves for 2 points in turn. At 10–10, service changes after every point; the same one-point service rotation applies when the expedite system is in operation.
