Solution

Steps of construction:

  1. Draw a line AB of any length.
  2. Draw an arc of 180° which meets the ray `vec(OA)` at P and ray `vec(OB)` at Q.
  3. Taking P and Q as centres and radius more than `1/2 (hat(PQ))`, draw two arcs which intersect each other at R.
  4. Join OR and produce it to any point C.
  5. Thus, `vec(OC)` bisect the straight angle. Now, on measuring each angle we get, ∠BOC = ∠AOC = 90°.
