Solution
The Martians planned to attack the Earth. Their ruler, Think Tank, sent his crew to collect information about Earth. Captain Omega and his team found some books in a library, including Mother Goose, which contained nursery rhymes. When Omega read poems like “Mistress Mary” and “Humpty Dumpty,” Think Tank misunderstood their meaning. He believed that Earth people could grow metals in fields and had powerful weapons. He also thought they were highly advanced in warfare. When he saw the picture of Humpty Dumpty, he felt it looked like him and feared that Earth might attack Mars. Out of fear, Think Tank decided to cancel the invasion and ordered everyone to move to Alpha Centauri. Because of this misunderstanding of the book, the Earth was saved from attack. Therefore, the title “The Book That Saved the Earth” is suitable and meaningful.
