I wish to draw your kind attention to the alarming increase in road accidents caused by reckless driving and violation of traffic rules. Many recent newspaper reports highlight tragic incidents where innocent lives have been lost due to speeding, jumping traffic signals, and not wearing helmets or seat belts. Such accidents occur mainly due to poor enforcement of traffic laws and lack of awareness among drivers.

Strict punishment for offenders can help reduce these accidents. Installing speed cameras, increasing police vigilance, and conducting regular road safety awareness programmes will also prove effective. Before the situation worsens, I urge the concerned authorities to take immediate action. Your esteemed newspaper can play a significant role in spreading awareness among the public.
