Question

As Robichon, narrate how you felt to be outwitted by Quinquart.

Answer 1

I was stunned when I realised that Quinquart had outwitted me. I had hoped to win Suzanne’s hand, so losing the challenge was painful. Still, I had to admire his cleverness and accept the result. Though disappointed, I knew I must keep my dignity and honour the outcome.
