Under the Sultanate, art blended Islamic (Persian‑Arabic‑Turkic) and Indian forms, producing Indo‑Islamic architecture with domes, arches, red sandstone and Quranic or floral decoration (Qutub Minar, Alai Darwaza). Painting adopted Indo‑Persian styles bright colours, repeated motifs and notably influenced later Mughal and Rajput schools.
