In the report, marks were entered out of 50. What is the mean of the recorded marks in the report?

If the marks are entered out of 50, then the given marks shall be doubled.
So, new marks scored will be 2 times the marks scored by the 16 students initially
i.e. 2 x 240 = 480

Mean marks = `(480)/(16)` = 30.
