Solution

Let A's share be $$6x$$ and B's share be $$11x$$.

Given B's share = $$11x = \text{₹ } 7315$$.

$$x = \frac{7315}{11} = 665$$

(i) A's share: $$6x = 6 \times 665$$

$$= \text{₹ } 3990$$

(ii) Total amount of money: $$\text{Total} = 6x + 11x = 17x$$

$$= 17 \times 665$$

$$= \text{₹ } 11305$$

or $$\text{₹ } 3990 + \text{₹ } 7315 = \text{₹ } 11305$$
