Solution
Painted portion of the wall = `3/8`
Of Which the yellow colour painted = `1/3`
∴ Yellow colour in the entire wall = `1/3` of `3/8`
= `1/3 xx 3/8`
= `1/8`
`1/8` of the wall is painted yellow.
