Given, A(x₁, y₁), B(h, k) and

slope of line AB = m

Slope of line AB = `(y_2 - y_1)/(x_2 - x_1)`

∴ m = `("k" - y_1)/("h" - x_1)`

∴ (k − y₁) = m(h − x₁)
