∵ According to Snell's law of refraction:
n = `sin"i"/sin"r"`
`3/2=(sin45°)/sin"r"`
⇒ `3/2=(1//sqrt2)/sin"r"`
sin r = `2/(3sqrt2)`
= `sqrt2/3`
