Solution

Given:

Diameter = 28 cm ⟹ radius r =14r = 14r =14 cm

Height = 1.5 m = 150 cm

π = `22/7`

Capacity of the geyser

Volume of a cylinder: V = πr2h

Substituting the values: V = `22/7 xx 14^2 xx 150`

= `22/7 xx 196 xx 150`

= 92400 cm3
