Let the length of the actual chain be x mm.
Therefore, `(2 cm)/(0.0000001 mm) = (17 cm)/(x mm)`
⇒ `x = (17 xx 0.0000001)/2`
= 8.5 × 0.0000001
= 0.00000085 mm
