Solution

 A dice is thrown once

TO FIND: Probability of getting an odd number.

Odd numbers on a dice are 1, 3 and 5

Total number of odd numbers on dice is 3

`"We know that PROBABILITY" = "Number of favourable event"/"Total number of event"`

`"Hence probability of an odd number" =3/6=1/2`

`"Hence probability of getting an odd number "=1/2`
