Solution

Current (I) = 3 A,

Resistance (R) = 75 Ω

Time (t) = 2 min

= 2 × 60

= 120 sec

  1. Heat energy w = I2Rt
    = 32 × 75 × 120
    = 9 × 75 × 120
    = 81000 J
  2. Charge Q = I × t
    = 3 × 120
    = 360 C
