Solution
M.P. = Rs.150, discount = 8%
To find the amount paid by the customer, that is, the S.P.
S.P. = `(1 - "d"/100)`of M.P.
⇒ S.P. = `(1 - 8/100) xx 150`
⇒ S.P. = `(92)/(100) xx 150`
⇒ S.P. = Rs.138
Hence, the amount paid by the customer is Rs.138.
