Momentum (p) = m × v
10 kgms−1 = 0.05 kg × v
\[ \therefore\ v = \frac{10}{0.05} \]
= 200 ms−1
\[ \therefore\ \text{K.E. of the body} = \frac{1}{2}\, mv^{2} \]
\[= \frac{1}{2} \times 0.05\ \mathrm{kg}\, (200\ \mathrm{m\,s^{-1}})^{2} \]
= 1000 J
