Solution
Milk consumed by the baby whale in 1 day
= 200 L
Milk consumed by a baby whale in 30 days
= 200 × 30
= 6000 L
Milk consumed by baby whale in 8 months
= 6000 × 8
= 48000 L
My family consumes 5 L of milk in a day
Hence, the number of days for consuming 200 L milk
= 200 ÷ 5
= 40 days
