Solution

Given Data:

Potential difference of the battery (V) = 10 V

Electric charge (Q) = 2 × 10−3 C

Resistance (R) = 20 Ω

Time interval (t) = 10 s

Formula:

W = V × Q

= 10 × (2 × 10−3)

= 2 × 101 × 10−3

= 2 × 101−3

= 2 × 10−2 J

The amount of work done is 2 × 10−2 Joules.
