Bandra:
Pupil’s High school, Bandra organized a ‘Social Media’ Awareness Program on 13th March 2020 for high school students. The program aimed at highlighting the threats of social media and helping the students manage their social media usage safely.
The program was conducted by Mr. Aditya Raj, an expert in social media services and internet security. The expert talked about various social media apps and websites, their usage and their benefits as well as threats. The students were guided about the risks of social media usage. They were also briefed about social media addiction and the increase in cyber-crime against teenagers.
Students pledged to use Social media safely and in a limited manner at the end of the program. The vote of thanks was proposed at the end and more such knowledgeable programs were requested by the students for the future.
