Aurangabad:
I visited the Aurangabad district recently, where I got the opportunity to visit the Zilla Parishad School with the guidance of my uncle, who is a Primary teacher there.
The Zilla Parishad school of Aurangabad provides education in English as well as Marathi Medium during different slots of the day. Students come from more than 8 villages of the district and the strength is 700, from Std. 1st to 10th. The school houses 20 expert teachers for different subjects. It aims at providing exposure and knowledge to all the students. My uncle teaches Science, and just like all the teachers, tries to make it fun and interesting for the kids. The teachers put in extra efforts to help the students. The school arranges various trips and events, to encourage the students and build co-curricular activity skills. The efforts of the school staff to provide quality education to rural students is commendable.
