A leopard attacks an 8-year-old at Sanjay Gandhi National Park

In a shocking incident at Sanjay Gandhi National Park, an 8-year-old boy was attacked by a leopard yesterday morning. The young boy escaped with minimal physical injuries but was truly shaken by the terrifying experience.
The incident occurred while the boy was visiting the national park with his parents. While near the leopard area, the boy got a little too close to the safety railing and accidentally fell inside. The leopard inside the enclosure immediately scratched him with its paws. However, before it could cause any severe damage, the park authorities stepped in quickly and managed to safely rescue the child.
He was immediately given first aid on the spot and later taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors assured his parents that his injuries were not severe. This marks the third such encounter reported in the area this year. Earlier, two men were also cornered by a leopard in the same National Park. The local residents and visitors have raised concerns regarding park safety. If necessary safety measures and stricter monitoring are not taken soon enough, the lives of visitors shall remain at risk.
