Interact, the Rotary Club's student wing, organised a three-day "He For She" conclave at Nav Nirman International School in Nashik. A three-day campaign for gender equality was held during the "He For She" colloquium. The US Ambassador, Mr. Mark Shaw, who was invited as the Chief Guest, honoured the initiative. In his remarks to the students, the Chief Guest expressed his sincere gratitude for the entire conclave. When it came to planning the conclave, the interns performed an excellent job. The interns handled each and every small detail. The panel discussions that followed the fascinating seminars led by well-known specialists became the buzz of the town. Cultural programmes made the evenings vibrant and engaging. In order to raise awareness of social issues, the Theatre Club performed short skits and street plays. Several luminaries made a point of attending the three day conference. The resounding support and favourable comments validated the 'He For She' conclave's success.
