Inter-School Cricket Match

Calicut, 12 January 2022: Last Sunday, 6 January 2022, a one-day inter-school cricket match was held in Suraj Public School, Chalapuram, between the host school and Rose Public School. The match began at around 9:00 a.m. and lasted for three hours. Both the teams played very well. A large number of students came to see the match. The host school won the toss and chose to bat first. It scored 180 runs in 20 overs. The other school also scored good runs but lost the match by only 10 runs. The captain of Rose Public School's performance was also outstanding, and they were given the Man of the Match award by the eminent cricketer Suresh Raina who was the Chief Guest. Prizes were given to the players for different categories. Overall, it was an interesting match.
