The Chocolate Thieves
The children were home alone and were planning to have some fun. They thought they would be able to reach the jar of chocolates on the top shelf in the kitchen and place it back before their mother came home. So, they climbed up on the kitchen platform and tried reaching for the jar. But in the process, they dropped the container of wheat flour that was kept on the kitchen platform. The children quickly took down the jar of chocolates and ran towards the backyard. When the mother returned home, she found an empty jar of chocolates and a messy kitchen floor. She could see that the wheat flour was spread on the floor and there were children’s footprints on it leading to the backyard. She understood that they were trying to get to the jar of chocolates and in their hurry, dropped the container of the wheat flour.
