How do non-metals react with hydrogen? Explain with an example.

Non-metals react with hydrogen by sharing their electrons with hydrogen electrons to form covalent hydrides.
For example: Sulphur shares its electrons with hydrogen electrons to form hydrogen sulphide that is covalent in nature.
