Then, sum of its parallel sides = 52 – (10 + 10)

∴ Area of the trapezium = `1/2(a + b) xx h`
= `1/2 xx 32 xx 8` ...[∵ h = 8 cm and a + b = 32 cm]
= 128 cm2
