उत्तर

Given, average of four quantities (A) = 6
and p = 3, q = 5, r = 7 and s = ?

∴ A = `("p"+"q"+"r"+"s")/4`

⇒ 6 = `(3+5+7+"s")/4`

⇒ 6 × 4 = 15 + s

⇒ s = 24 − 15

⇒ s = 9
