उत्तर १
If English letters like A, H, I, M, O, T, U, V, W, X and Y are placed in front of a mirror, then their images look exactly like the letters. These letters are vertically symmetrical. If we divide these letters from the middle, then their right and left parts will look the same.

उत्तर २
The letters of the English alphabet give exactly the same image in a plane mirror like the letter itself:
A, H, I, M, O, T, U, V, W, X, Y

Answer the following question.
Write the modification in the curvature of the eye lens which enables us to see the nearby objects clearly?
An object 5 cm high forms a virtual image of 1.25 cm high, when placed in front of a convex mirror at a distance of 24 cm. Calculate:
- the position of the image
- the focal length of the convex mirror.
AB is the object, A'B' is the image, and MM' is the position of the mirror. Complete the ray diagram showing the formation of the image and find the focal length of the mirror.

Assertion: Incident ray is directed towards the centre of curvature of spherical mirror. After reflection it retraces its path.
Reason: Angle of incidence (i) = Angle of reflection (r) = 0°
