Explanation:

Let y = x2 and t = x3

Differentiating both the parametric functions w.r.t. x

`"dy"/'dx"` = 2x and `"dt"/"dx"` = 3x2

∴ `"dy"/"dt" = ("dy"/"dx")/("dt"/("dx")`

= `(2x)/(3x^2)`

= `2/(3x)`
