The KJ Somaiya Institute of Journalism and Mass Communication (SIJMC) is part of the KJ Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research (SIMSR). Inaugurated in 1982 by the then Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting, Shri Vasant Purushottam Sathe, the institute has produced some of the finest writers, journalists, media planners and academics.
