Admission Information

only five years of relaxation for the reserved candidates SC/ST 3 yrs relaxation for OBC Candidates. 03. In service candidates in Central./State government Health and Family Welfare Department & directly involved in the delivery of health care services will be preferred. Persons working in National level recognised NGOs working in health field will be accepted. 04. Reservation for SC/ST and Disabled will be provided as per the Government of India rules. A certificate from the Recognised District Authority must be attached at the time of submission of application form. 05. Individuals with any of the above qualifications from Government and Non-Government Organisations working in the Rural areas/under performing districts, in the community health will be preferred. 06. Preference for the admission will be given for candidates sponsored from Directorate of Health Services of the State. All application to be forwarded through proper channel. 07. The medium of instructions for this course is in English. 08. Selection Committee decision will be final. 09. D.H.P.E. Course is a full time Residential Training course of one academic year (from June to May). 10. No students will be permitted to seek employment, or to participate in any course of study either full time or part time during the period he/she is enrolled at the Institute.

Eligibility Requirement

One year Diploma Course in Health Promotion Education is affiliated to International Institute of Population Sciences, Mumbai (Deemed University). The candidate should fulfill either of the following eligibility criteria :- 01. (a) Graduate in Psychology / Economics / Anthropology / Statistics / Sociology / Education / Communication / Social work/Dietetics with three years of experience in community work in the field of Health/ Education/ Welfare etc. (b) A Graduate in Nursing or any other paramedical fields. The graduation degree should be from a UGC recognised University 02. Age not more than 40 years with only five years of relaxation for the reserved candidates SC/ST 3 yrs relaxation for OBC Candidates. 03.
