Metamorphosis of Kothrud was contemplated two decades ago. The need was felt due to exponential growth of industrialization in Pune and around. The influx of people from outside and native state is growing everyday. Corner of all directions around Pune came to be occupied by big and small industries and consequently huge housing societies reached the limits of sky short span of time.
Kothrud was on forefront on all counts. The growth accelerated so speedily that it reached the threshold of “Guinness Book “ to incorporate world record .Among these landmark developments in Kothrud , the horizon was further expanded and the educational area emerged in the form of the “Raja Shree Shivraya Pratishthan“ , which made its debut in 1983. The Pratishthan was blessed by dynamic and dedicated veteran leader Shri Shashikant Sutar, who devoted strived relentlessly for a comman man in kothrud for his individual and collective well being.The Pratishthan paved gates to cultural, educational and sports activities very soon. All these area were developed so precisely that this led to total growth of Kothrud.
At present the Pratishthan has piece of land admeasuring about 3 acres at Rambaug Colony, Kothrud . The beautiful piece of land includes school building , D.Ed. college undergraduate college & Management institute and also sports ground. The pratishthan is
engaged in the multifaceted education. Thousands of students are taking valuable education in the present campus.
