Sum

Solution
Total no. of possible outcome, n(S) = 62 = 36
The sum less than 5 = {(1, 1), (1, 2), (1, 3), (2, 1), (2, 2), (3, 1)}
No. of favourable outcomes, n(E) = 6
∴ Probability (have sum less than 5)
= `(n(E))/(n(S))`
= `6/36`
= `1/6`
