Given: Side of each cube (a) = 15 cm

Three cubes are joined end-to-end to form a cuboid.

Dimensions of the resulting cuboid:

Length (l) = 3 × 15 = 45 cm

Breadth (b) = 15 cm

Height = 15 cm

Formula:

Total Surface Area of a cuboid (TSA) = 2(lb + bh + lh)

= 2 × [(45 × 15) + (15 × 15) + (45 × 15)]

= 2 × [675 + 225 + 675]

= 2 × 1575

= 3150 cm2

The total surface area of the resulting cuboid is 3150 cm2.
