Solution

Given:

Specific conductivity (κ) = 3 × 10−2 Ω−1 cm−1

Concentration (C) = 0.2 mol/L

To find:

Molar conductance (Λm) = ?

Formula:

`Lambda_m = (kappa xx 1000)/C`

= `(3 xx 10^-2 xx 1000)/0.2`

= `30/0.2`

= 150 S cm2 mol−1
