Let the seven consecutive odd numbers arex, x + 2, x + 4, x + 6, x + 8, x + 10 and x + 12

`("x" + "x" + 2 + "x" + 4 + "x" + 6 + "x" + 8 + "x" + 10 + "x" + 12)/7`

= 27

⇒ `(7"x" + 42)/3`

= 27 ⇒ x + 6 = 27 ⇒ x = 21

So, last number= x + 12

= 21 +12

= 33

Now, last number is removed

So, Average of ramining number = `(27 xx 7 - 33)/6`

= `(189 - 33)/6`

= `156/6`

= 26
