Solution
`tan^-1((cos 2x - sin 2x)/(cos 2x + sin 2x))`
अंश तथा हर को cos 2x से भाग देने पर,
`tan^-1 ((1 - tan 2x)/(1 + tan 2x))`
सूत्र का उपयोग करते हुए,
`tan(A - B) = (tan A - tan B)/(1 + tan A tan B)`
= `(1 - tan 2x)/(1 + tan 2x)`
= `tan (π/4 - 2x)`
चूँकि, `0 < x < π/4`,
∴ `tan^-1((cos 2x - sin 2x)/(cos 2x + sin 2x)) = π/4 - 2x`
